Everyone on this platform and their mother probably knows about the issue of AI being used to cheat during contests. What I see much less often is how AI is affecting the Codeforces community itself. Why do posts like https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/146698 earn +60 upvotes for a prompt that probably took 5 minutes to throw into ChatGPT? What happened to drawing out thoughtful diagrams and maybe adding a couple easter eggs into the art instead of asking AI to generate art for a problem statement (2127D - Root was Built by Love, Broken by Destiny, 2034C - Trapped in the Witch's Labyrinth) and calling it a day?
Of course, it's unfortunately time-efficient and cost-effective to send a prompt to GPT instead of drawing something out yourself (or get this — commissioning an actual artist), but it seems rather hypocritical that half the community calls out for the banishment of AI from contests but turns a blind eye to its effect on the creative side. It's especially frustrating to get my friends and classmates (many of whom are artists) to join the Codeforces scene when the very first featured blog post has an AI-generated promotional image (not now, but a while back). Am I the only one who thinks this way?

such wise words. thank you!
I've stopped reading blogs that use title case. They're much more likely to be AI slop, and I'm glad they carry that mark.
A Very Interesting Blog That I Really Put a Lot of Effort in (I Don't) -> high chance of AI slop

I guess I should get up to speed on things like this (common signs of AI). I tend to write overly formally both on here and elsewhere (including title casing and frequent usage of semicolons). Fortunately, I'm not one of the few out there who were using em dashes before AI came out and started constantly using it.
Would you happen to know some other common signs of AI besides the two above? (I'd hazard a guess and say that lists, excessive formatting, and frequent usage of emojis are some others?)
lmao i just clicked on that time traveler blog post out of curiosity and now i come across this one
