Why rating decreased?

Usually, after a rollback, the rating increases — but this time, for example, one of my friends’ accounts showed a –16 decrease. Why is that?

I remember that this sort of thing happened a few months ago. I think that the users who have participated in $$$ \lt 6$$$ contests (so they have unstable ratings) get their ratings incorrectly adjusted, which increases theirs by a lot but decreases everyone else's by a little bit.

And last time they corrected it a few hours after the initial rollback.

The system is rigged against the common man. Also, -13 when I was expecting +5 — +10 :(

In the discussion groups I’m in, it seems that some accounts with fewer than six contests have unexpectedly gained a large amount of rating points. The losses other users experienced might be a result of this.

I was max expert, now my max became 1599 haha. Actually I believe the rating has decreased since in some contests, the maximum number of cheaters that were removed were probably below you, so the total number of contestants decreased but the overall rank remained similar so rating in terms of percentile decreased.
