Hello to all dear programmers on Codeforces! I am honored to say that on Yalda Night, which is a memorable and beloved night among Iranians, I was able to reach 1,000 solved problems. Two weeks ago, I set a goal for myself to reach this number of problems before winter, and fortunately, I succeeded. I can also say that this journey greatly contributed to my progress, and I am very happy about it.

As for Yalda Night, a night when we Iranians gather with each other and our families and enjoy being together, it is also one of our very old traditions. In the past, when night symbolized darkness and evil, from Yalda Night onwards, the nights start to get shorter and the days get longer, making this night a symbol of victory and new hope.

So, I wish all of you a happy Yalda Night and hope you have a wonderful evening with your families :)

Good night =D

Congrats bro! please tell your practise method/strategy, how do you practise so much? I can solve only 5-6 problems around my own rating even if i practise entire day.

I also spent a lot of time practicing and solving problems on my own, and I managed to solve this many questions. It’s also worth mentioning that, for example recently, now that I’ve reached about the middle of page two in the 1500-rated problems, the questions have become easier compared to the newer ones and are solved more easily. That is, their level among the new questions is around 1300–1400. But overall, effort and consistency usually pay off. And of course, over time, when you solve problems at your own level, you can easily solve a large number of problems per day at that level, because you’ve already seen most of the solution ideas and methods for that level, struggled with them, and reached the answers—or even managed to get to the solution with the help of hints from others or the editorial (which I personally believe is completely reasonable if you’ve already thought about a problem for a long time, and it actually helps).

I think that's kind of the problem. If you're already good at solving problems of some level, shouldn't you move on to be able to solve even harder ones? Especially if they're getting easier, because they get older and you get better at solving them

Congrats, and Happy Yalda night, friend!

But don't you think you solved too many 1400-1500? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're easy, but I think you should've have moved on to harder problems to progress further. By practicing one level so much you'll most likely be able to solve problems of such level faster, but it won't make you able to solve harder problems.

This is just my opinion, but in my view the average number of problems that should be solved to master a certain rating level is about 150. With this number, you get to see many different types of problems at that level. And of course, after Yalda Night, I started solving problems with a rating of 1600.

I wouldn't completely agree. While yes, you become mostly a master if you solve so many, but you won't get ahead too much. In my opinion, if you can solve 1500 most of the time, on your own, just move on.
