Maybe Codeforces is a total waste of time, and all of us are chasing a meaningless “Rating” that means nothing in real life. Most of us are too busy grinding useless problems to see the truth.
The Rating system is a joke—it only measures how much free time you have to spam submissions and memorize solutions, not actual skill. The Hack mechanism is just for bitter losers to ruin others’ work, and it should be removed immediately. Go ahead, downvote me. Call me an idiot.

i am in complete agreement with what is said above , i literally grind codeforces 24x7 365 days , but sometimes i feel sad for my friends who cant do shit , i have become a literal codeforces god at this point .

A lot of programming contests held in universities are codeforces contests based, talking as a computer science student
Codeforces ain't for chasing rating, its for people who like problem solving and are ok with spending time on it. That's it. If you don't like it, maybe you can quit, no one's forcing.
