Egypt is participating in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) for the first time — a major step toward restoring our place in international mathematics competitions.

This is more than just one event. Consistent participation in competitions like BMO is essential for Egypt’s long-term return to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

We’ve also gained the attention and support of Gregor Dolinar, President of the IMO, who is closely following this initiative and understands the challenges we face.

The required funding is modest (~6k), but time is limited.
