no_name_weak_vegetable became grandmaster in 3 contests ??? I think that's a new record.

      No, but it makes things much simpler. There's no other way to get +400 in a single contest.

          If I make a div2 account and participate, yeah, I guess I could do that.

          However, it's a stupid idea. I'd rather compete with my own account and gain actually meaningful, even if smaller, rating.

      Yes, but it's very simpler to be grand master with div1+div2 contests.
      I don't say that I can do that but many coders in CF like tourist & Petr or ... can do that easily. ( maybe better than no_name_weak_vegetable because his ranks in his contests are 24 — 46 — 93 but tourist can get three 1 in three contest :D )
