We hope you have been participating and enjoying yourself in our monthly dose of Long Contests. We have made some daring changes to the long contest format to make it more exciting. 10 problems for 10 days! It has everything for everyone, be it a newbie or a veteran :) You can read more about it in here.

The February 2012 Algorithm Challenge will take place on http://www.codechef.com/FEB12.

Here are the details:
Date: 1st February 2012 to 11th February 2012
Duration: 10 days
Problems: 9 binary problems of varying difficulty levels + 1 challenge problem.

Problem Setter: David Stolp (pieguy), Hiroto Sekido (LayCurse), Imran Sunny, Nikhil Garg, Sergey Kulik, Tomaž Hočevar (thocevar), Vitaliy Gerasymiw

Problem Tester: Антон Лунёв (Anton_Lunyov)

It promises to deliver on an interesting set of algorithmic problems with prizes up for grabs.

The contest is open for all and those, who are interested, are requested to register in order to participate.

I'm impressed, the timelimits for java seem very fair. When did this change? (In cookoff11 I TLE'ed on the easy problem but converting to c++ ran in .01 seconds)
