Yes. Seems that Java don't work in Google Chrome properly. Firefox works well. After installing Java add the TopCoder to exception list (which is in Control Panel -> Java -> Security -> Exception list [Win 8.1 x64]). It should work then.
NVM. Solved. Seems like there is a bug on TopCoder.
Exception list, if you need!
Ok. Thank you very much , it solves the problem.
https versions are redundant I guess.
For ubuntu. To add in exception list: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25949651/openjdk-how-to-add-site-to-exception-list
Adding just https://www.topcoder.com did not solve my problem. But adding all of them worked.
http urls are not needed anymore..
I face the issue even after adding the exception list. My java version is 9.0.1
Hey cegprakash, Can you try and run this version: www.topcoder.com/contest/arena/ContestAppletProd7.2.jnlp
Thanks. It works!
