Invitation to CodeChef’s May 2012 Algorithm Challenge

We hope you participated and enjoyed the changes made to monthly Long Contests. We had made some changes to the long contest format to make it more exciting. 10 problems for 10 days! It now has everything for everyone, be it a newbie or a veteran :) You can read more about it in here.

Continuing from there, we bring you the CodeChef May 2012 Long Challenge. The May 2012 Algorithm Challenge is taking place on http://www.codechef.com/MAY12.

Here are the details:
Date: 1st May 2012 to 11th May 2012
Duration: 10 days
Problems: 9 binary problems of varying difficulty levels + 1 challenge problem.

Problem Setter: Nikhil Garg, Hiroto Sekido (LayCurse), Imran Sunny, Kaushik Iska (cauchyk), David Stolp (pieguy), Vitaliy Gerasymiw, AnhDQ, Ishani Parekh (RosyIsh)

Problem Tester: Subramanyam Velaga

It promises to deliver on an interesting set of algorithmic problems with prizes up for grabs.

The contest is open for all and those, who are interested, are requested to register in order to participate.

кто-нибудь может сказать, как выставляются баллы за challenge-задачу? берется максимум? среднее или что?

    там в условии ведь написано все, в разделе Scoring

      я не об этом, допустим у меня несколько посылок по задаче, какая будет выбрана для оценки?

        Судя по всему, берется максимум.

          странно, у меня макс 0.952, но почему-то в мониторе стоит 0.941

          да и у Вас, как я посмотрю, макс 0.997, а в мониторе 0.987

            Да нет, просто в посылках maxscore обновляется не часто. Отсюда и высчитывает баллы оно там неправильно, на основании устаревшего результата. А в монитор выводит реальное значение. По крайней мере, это то что я заметил за время написания контеста.
