How to add someone as friend?

Hello every body.

please tell me how to add some one as friend on codeforces.

there is no add friend button in any profile but i see i have 6 friend ,i don't know how they added me.

You click on the star next to their name in their profile. Then they'll show in your My Friends list.

You have to click on the star to the right of the user's name on his/her profile page.
