I recently gave Codeforces round 377 for div2 only. Now, i was in div1 with a rating of 1914 and due to some technical problems, i was included as an official participant.
I was trying F during the later part of the contest assuming rank wouldn't matter (as you may see from my submissions !), and could have tried E instead. Now, i know that rating shouldn't matter but currently i don't feel that good with a drop of 83 and going back to blue ! :(
This isn't fair and i hope MikeMirzayanov resolves this !!

Really magical. Good bug report. They all participate in #376 and #377 and become purple in #376, it's just one day between these two contests. So I think maybe rating of user is not up to date when calculating rating change of #377.
My rating increased by 17 only despite huge difference in ranks in my previous contest and this one. I think I deserved more. Edit: Why so many downvotes ?

I think you have registered before the rating changes of Round 376 happened. Therefore the system thinks that you are a official participant because of the blue rating at that time.
