Hello Codeforces!
--d, nathanlo99, kobortor, and I would like to invite everyone to write the Trudeau Logic Evaluation (TLE) 2016 November contest. The TLE is a monthly contest series written by high school students, predominantly from Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School, Canada. The contest serves as preparation for OI-style contests such as the CCO (Canadian Computing Olympiad) and IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics). The contest will be hosted on the DMOJ platform.
The contest will consist of 6 problems, and the problem difficulty will range from Div. 2 A to Div. 1 D. Only problems 4, 5, and 6 will have pretests, and partial points (in the form of subtasks) will be awarded!
The contest window will be 11 hours long and will last from 12:00 EST to 23:00 EST on November 17th, 2016. You may start your 3 hour interval at any time during this contest window, but be wary of the hard deadline at 23:00 EST if you want to start late!
For more information, visit the contest page!
We hope that you will enjoy the contest and that you will receive rating boosts!
Edit: Contest has started!
Edit 2: The contest has ended! Thanks to everybody who participated! Systests have been done and ratings have been updated. Editorials and winners will be posted soon on DMOJ.
Edit 3: The winners have been posted on the DMOJ homepage. Editorials can be found on their respective problem pages. Thanks to everybody who participated and see you next month!
Be prepared to face problems that require very little thinking, but are extremely irritating to code
