Hi Codeforces community. In this post I wan to tell about problem div2C/div1A. I waited for this round for a very long time, I sent my purposal 20th December. Approval came only 2 weeks ago, but some problems should be changed. Then I created a new problem (div2B), but I was unable to find something good about div1A. Then I remembered about my problem which was ready and was hidden in SPOJ. However, I today knew, that it was hidden, however problem could be found by link. I apologize to community and hope that you learned something or had fun solving other my problems.
It's All Fine :)
I'm sure many participants had fun for taking part in the contest and solving some different problems. ;)
Hey man thanks for taking out time to prepare problems, I enjoyed solving them nonetheless.
Thanks man's for your time..... It was really great time in working on WA
Hey, No problem! We definitely had fun solving the problems. This was my first contest here. It was a great experience. There isn't a dull moment on codeforces. You're always learning :)
Looks like you got 3 times more upvotes for this explanation than for the actual round.
It looks like this is the best strategy. Prepare a bad round — because you still are going to get some positive contribution. Then prepare some nice explanation about the issue and get another portion of upvotes :P
But he also got almost 300 downvotes on editorial. Quite bad strategy i think
Yes, people are making rounds to get big contribution. That's for sure.
No, definitely they do them for living.
Your contest is the first one I officially participated, and I have to say that the way you describe these problems is amazing b/c I can understand it easily (I have read problems of other codeforce rounds and some of them are confusing). Anyway I hope you will be able to keep creating problems for us, thank you :)
At least I didn't know there is a similar problem on spoj and struggled with it for a while. I think those like me would find this problem interesting :)
Intresting contest, I think . Specially D/div2 for hackers ;)
Just a thought: If you are writing a contest and don't have enough problems, due to whatever reason, either ask your friends, or just write a blog here, somebody might have good ideas.
It's all good man! You created 7 problems and just one of them was not new. That's fine! Looking forward to see other contests made by you again! Cheers!
