2018 Topcoder Open Round 1B and Parallel Fun Rated Round

The next Algorithm Competition of the 2018 Topcoder Open has arrived! Round 1B will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 7:00 UTC -4.

The 750 highest scorers from each Round 1 will win a spot in Round 2 of the Algorithm Competition.

Parallel Fun Rated Round: There will also be a Parallel Fun Rated Round for those that aren't eligible or have already advanced to Round 2 for the TCO round

Please note that you must register for the appropriate round in the Arena. Registration opens at 4:00 UTC -4 and closes at 6:55 UTC -4.

Registration opens at 4:00 UTC -4 and closes at 6:55 UTC -4.

It seems the duration of registeration phase is only 3 hours. Isn't it unusual?

      Seems that duration of registeration is four hours (seeing TC arena).

Top 750 advance to the next round. But only ~300 registered for the round...

      Do you know the formula Topcoder rating system uses? I'm 1 point away from Div1 and want to predict if I will go to Div1 or not (because from the announcement, it seems rating update is going to take some time to get updated)
