Does somebody know where will be held? Why have they taken so long to announce it? As far as I know, the host of next competition is always announced formally at the closing ceremony, but this wasn't the case at Beijing 2018.
Has this happened before? I am just asking out of curiosity :)

There hasn't been an official announcement, but Bill Poucher said (kinda) that it will be held on Porto!

People say chances are it's in India (although last World Finals rumors spread it's gonna be in Portugal if I remember correctly).
Weird... he literally answered another question today, but didn't update his ICPC 2019 answer. I find it hard to imagine that it would not be finalized in the morning but somehow would be finalized later today.

Yikes. My coach said our university probably wouldn't allow us to be sent to Jordan. I'd imagine the situation is similar for most US universities. :(
I highly doubt it.
One can check that in only one of the mentioned locations all rooms in some hotels are sold out in April 2019. This location is Porto.
How did you check that? How can we see it?
