If we get the wrong answer in the sample tests, our score decrease? Two days ago in Codeforces Round #522 (Div. 2, based on Technocup 2019 Elimination Round 3) i get wrong answers on sample tests in B question but my point decrease. I got 2 wrong answers on sample tests but my point decrease 100. Why? Please help me.
As far as I remember, failing sample 1 does not decrease the score. Failing any other test does decrease the score.
The reason is that, more often than not, failing sample 1 is because of a technical issue (wrong problem submitted, wrong compiler, and so on). Whereas passing sample 1 usually means a genuine attempt to solve the problem.
If you get rejected at pretest 1, your point doesn't decrease.
For any other test, if you get rejected, you point decreases by 50 points.
I think that's nice because sometimes the one may forget to delete the debug lines, or puts some additional characters while trying to copy his code, and then gets compilation error or WA1, which is a kind warning message to fix those things.
look at the link i am at 1299 look at my wrong submissions.

i have 2 wrong answers in pretest 2 and 1 wrong answer in pretest 9
"the penalty is determined as the number of this contestant's previous solutions for this problem, multiplied by 50 points;" Your 4th solution was accepted which means you submitted a total of 4 solutions (none of them failed on pretest 1). Which means you had 3 previous submissions which means -150.
By "the system", I assume you mean the CF people. If they told you "no comments", it probably means that your question has been answered before, which means that it's not a mistake and you can find out what happened if you want to. It wasn't super easy to find that section on the penalty, but it didn't take more than 5 mins, and the information was where you'd expect it to be.
P.S. And actually, other people have already summarized why. I dont think you should say, "look at my submissions" when they already told you why.
