I may have the chance to study in Russia next year. I am willing to pursue a master's degree in big data and data mining. I can apply to most universities like ITMO, MIPT, HSE, Bauman, Innopolis, Saint Petersburg, ...
I want to take your opinion on which universities are best in this case. can you please provide an ordering, or give your advice.

Afaik, only MIPT has strong master program in this area
Why are you choosing russian university? Why not USA, Germany, France, Spain or Italy? Science is not valued in Russia, so russian scientists move to other countries

I live in Syria, there is some kind of cultural exchange between Russia and Syria.
Don't listen to this expert, there are really no education in Spain and Italy and very little bit in France. If Stanford is available for you, prefer it, else choose MIPT.
