Hi everyone!

Spectral Technologies We're Spectral::Technologies – a proprietary HFT firm building low-latency infrastructure and trading strategies for global markets.

We started Spectral in 2019 around a single idea: bring together talented engineers and mathematicians, give them challenges worth getting obsessed over, and create an environment where they can reach their full potential. That's also why we support MCCME (НМУ), HSE, ITMO, SPbSU, and ICPC – places that develop the next generation of talent, and the people who make them work.

We believe Codeforces is one of those key places. That is why we're happy to announce our very first tournament: Spectral::Cup 2026. We invite you to take part in the First Round of the Tournament — Spectral::Cup 2026 Round 1. Join us on Apr/25/2026 17:35 (Moscow time) and test your skills by solving problems!

There will be 3 rounds, and your final score will be calculated based on your best 2 results like this:

  • In each round, the top 100 participants will earn points according to the scoring table.
  • A participant's final score will be the sum of points from their two best rounds.

Prizes:

  • Top 30 in each round, with prize value growing with every round
  • Top 3 and top 15 based on the final score
  • 30 random participants among top 500 based on the final score

Strong performers will also get priority consideration for roles on our team.

We're hiring!

Our team includes IMO, IOI, IPhO, and All-Russian Olympiad medalists, top graduates of strong technical universities, and engineers from tier-1 companies. We could say a lot about why people love working here – but our 3.5-year average tenure says it better.

Hi Guys, Coincidentally it is aligning with the LeetCode biweekly contest. Why cant it be shifted to sunday or friday same time

      Everyone knows that , but if we have a choice, why keep it clashed with other contests?

      The total no of contests itself are very less

      For people who want to give more contests ... even if leetcode is bad than code forces we dont have other choice right

      Also they recently changed it, I think, the date of the contest. As far I remember, there should be a contest on the 23rd at 8pm ist

        The one scheduled for Thursday was a Div. 2, which is different from this contest. Also, I have always wondered why people like you—who haven’t participated in contests for three years—still worry about overlaps (and, as another typical example, complain about contest frequency).

          I couldnt get proper time to write for the past 3 years

          When I started again recenlty ... the first feeling i got after writing some contests was there are less contests .... i am saying this because of the excitement and dopamine for writing a contest were high currently , since I haven't written any contests for long time.... Maybe I am feeling like this because i am actively involving in CP recently, Learning lot of theory eager to see my learnings in form of contests.

Carrot and CF Predictor are completely dead. Anyone got a working alternative, or are we stuck waiting for system tests?

    I think it's caused by a problem in Codeforces API. The "probrat" command from Limak Discord bot is also not working. Either Mike didn't fix it or locked it on purpose.
