Dear all,
In the past 3 days or so, I've noticed that the Codeforces website loads quite slowly. Every click into the problemset, glance at the contest or any link here takes 5~20 seconds to load. However, other websites like Youtube run perfectly on my computer. Why is this so? Is this happening elsewhere? Any help would be appreciated.
When I first registered over a year ago, I remember load time being almost instantaneous, but in my last few visits, it's unbearable to the point that I pre-load problems in new tabs to save time.
According to Alexa site metrics: https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/codeforces.com The average load time is ~2 seconds (for me it's definitely closer to 10 seconds on average, with periods of it taking minutes).
For instance, I typed up this comment over an hour ago, and can only post it now because the site was not receiving the request.
Yeah, it's happening here too. Although it got better during the contest!
