For me logging in was especially troublesome because I have a filter for polygon emails (there are usually enough of them to overfill my inbox) and thus spent some time waiting for the login email until I realized that it is in the special folder.
Upvoted the issue. This feature might be useful as opt-in, but now there is even no opt-out.
This feature is just a quick fix to prevent unauthorized access for those, who use easy passwords. Email is used as a second factor for authentication. A little bit later I'll improve it to make much less obtrusive. Just wait a little.
Is it a continuation of chemthan's issue?
In any case, make it optional. Thanks!
Weird part is, even now the "Login" button in Polygon can't even be clicked.
I found a workaround: click Tab button several times, and press Enter when the Login button is selected.
It still received my clicks/taps but nothing happened tbh.
Fixed now.
when i click to confirm my email message “link has been already used” appeared and nothing change
