Hi Codeforces,
I see the next Div.1 round takes place on March 30th, 16:35 (UTC). I will be on flight to the World Finals at that time, and I believe some of World Finalists would be in the same situation (WF starts on March 31st).
I think it would be better if the round takes place one day earlier. I rarely see Div.1 rounds in March (the most recent was held at "unusual" time, the one before was unrated). I would like this luxurious opportunity to enjoy and train :)
Please tell me what you think.

Div 1 rounds are not very frequent nowadays. Obviously everyone should be able to take part in this round. Timings should be changed. Best of luck for the Finals

Frankly, you should focus on WF. On the other hand, there will be some finalists who will travel to Portugal earlier and they will complain. You cannot please everyone.
We have the same issue.
I guess moving the round one day earlier might make some other issues for authors or other World Finals contestants.
Moving the round one day later is another option, as in the World Finals schedule the first program is Sunday dinner which will be at 18-20 PM, and the contest starts at 16:35 in Porto timezone, so it fits in the schedule perfectly.
This is not that important but some part of the contest clashes with codechef's lunchtime also.
^^One more reason to prepone the contest.

You know how ratings work right? Without the WF participants your rank will improve but it doesn't affect your rating.
