Best of luck to all in the arena! :)
The 20 T-shirts mentioned in the post — Are they only for the Indian coders who are in college or everyone who is contesting?
Only the Indian students currently enrolled in a college are eligible for prizes! However, everyone else can compete but won’t get any prizes :)
Thanks for the reply. But, how will you verify if a contestant is a college student or not?
We will be reaching out to the members after the event to submit their college id soft copy for verification.
Thanks, hmehta Sir.
Are t-shirts for college students among the top 30 members or top 30 college students?
Where can I register?
The java applet is not getting launched. :(
I see you logged in! hope you were able to launch it :) all the best!
IN 1000, do we have any good solution other than monte carlo ?
Are those people who are graduating in 2019 eligible?
What happens if someone qualifies for both TCO India regionals and TCC regionals? Do they receive double reimbursements?
Unfortunately no! :) The next one in the queue for regionals get a ticket to the regionals!
Oh that's sad! Will the events be held simultaneously or is it possible to participate in both? If not, it's up to the participant to choose the event?
It's on the participant to choose! The events are held simultaneously but TCC finals will have 1/2 extra problem/problems.
TCC Finalists are given special treatment at the event ;)
Hey .. I was ranked 28 on the leaderboard and a 2nd year college student in India . Am I eligible of getting topcoder t-shirt .. do I have a chance to attend the finals too as I am from Jaipur only..
Hey was it really rated? Ratings haven’t been updated yet...
I've been walking like a pig to the slaughter the whole day, just because I had res = 0, instead of res = 1...
Haha, many missed that. I made two successful challenges due to it. Even I submitted with ans = 2 initially and later resubmitted after changing it to 1.
Was that rated cuz, the rating hasn't been updated yet and I don't think it takes this long to get updated on topcoder?
It may be possible that its unrated because the 2nd problem was copied.
Possible, but it would be nicer if they told so.
The match will be rated! The ratings will be updated within 2-3 hours from now. Unfortunately the writer and the tester didn't realize the problem already existed! We are extremely sorry for that :) Will take some extra measures to make sure it doesn't happen again!
Still waiting for the rating update...
The ratings were updated yesterday, unfortunately there is a minor bug which is stopping the ratings to be visible on the applet. Working on it! Apologies for the delay!
They were updated incorrectly. I had 1526 before the round and it says that my rating dropped from 1405->1322.
Basically, it looks like they were updated 2 times. Everybody has a different starting rating from what was his previous performance.
Finally updated correctly
I think they are still incorrect. For example in my room place second and third: https://community.topcoder.com/stat?c=coder_room_stats&rd=17512&rm=332534&cr=40493794
They were first time participants and they should start from 1200.
hmehta Could you please fix the issue? The ratings are still incorrect... I described the problem above. Compare with this: https://community.topcoder.com/stat?c=coder_room_stats&rd=17514&cr=40896336 The first time users start from 1200 rating.
Finally, it's been updated on the applet.
