    what to do when even after seeing similar problems many times, still one makes mistakes when one sees them in real contests? It feels bad then, as if nothing was learned. Any way to overcome this?

Forget high ranks and high scores. All we ever need is some good love, to have someone rub our belly when we are lonely ^_^;

You can get lower points(but not too low)in a contest or two and let your seed lower then get a much better rank in a easy contest
