My code passed pretests, while giving wrong output on Sample Test Case

Here is my submission : 83990283

As you can see for the Test case 1, (sample test case), string "bbc" cannot be obtained from "abac", then, why is verdict "OK"?

Can someone explain what exactly happened here?

(If it showed WA during the contest, I would have easily corrected my code)

The checker was wrong. It was fixed later.

    How was someone supposed to know during the contest, "man, this isn't the right time to submit, I should wait for checker to work properly". Isn't it unfair, that I moved to next question without knowing my code didn't even pass the pretests?

      Seeing your profile, I think you have not participated in many contests.

      This is the same when pretests are weak. You move on to another question. I know it feels unfair, but those contests are not unrated. It will be unfair to those who actually solved that question correctly.
