Why do some problemsetters take like 12 hours to publish their editorial? It should already be made before the contest and should be published instantly after the contest ends. Please don't be lazy! Publish the editorials right after the contest is done!

I'm assuming you're talking about div3/educational editorials being released after 12 hours. Most other contests have quick editorials, but div3/educational rounds don't release their editorials quickly because of the 12 hour open hacking phase.

The most recent edu round is a different story because the round was unfortunately unrated and it made no difference if there was/wasn't an open hacking phase.

I think this is actually a reasonable question. In many rounds (not just edu's and div3's) the editorial doesn't come out right after the contest. I'm not complaining about this — but it would be nice to know the reason why it's sometimes delayed.

For div 2's -- some editorials are prepared beforehand and some aren't.

you better try to upsolve problem by yourself in that 12 hours, than creating blogpost on cf and blaming round writers for slow editorials

After the contest is over there's a hacking phase which runs for around 12 hours. Maybe that's the case.
