Stop fake accounts virtual participation

This is very disheartening to see that people creating fake accounts, participating virtually and then copy pasting the solution of some red coders.

venkatachandu08 can you stop your fake glory and work upon real you.

I request authority to look into this matter and create a feature which detect the plagarism even during virtual participation.

MikeMirzayanov we want some strict action from your side, please look into this.

I get your point, but detecting plagarism in virtual contests will take up resources. About those who are just copy pasting other coders solutions aren't improving themselves or anything. Virtual contests are for individuals own assessment.

    So the least can be done is to not include them in the real rankings, just create a virtual ranking for the individual who is participating virtually so that he can judge himself.

    Exactly. I too had a genuine doubt few hours ago.
    In Firefox browser, the codejam 2020 certificate is bugged. It shows that u have passed only qualification round even if u have passed subsequent rounds.

    I didn't know it was a bug of firefox. So I asked it in a blog.
    Got 6 downvotes in 5 mins. Then I erased the blog XD.

    But seeing this post getting 50 upvotes now makes me feel irritated.

    I once wrote a blog to get help in a dp problem, but people downvoted me. I did not erased the blog, but never found some suggestion. But this blog got so many upvotes!! Now I don't understand what wrong did I do.

Why do you care about that? Virtual Contest participants do not affect the rating, if you do not like it, you can hide it.
