Minimum requirement to create group?

How come I have the option of "create group" on Codeforces even though I have not yet reached purple? Is the minimum rating requirement reduced or Is it a bug?

I think it is a new feature. Everyone can create a group just like a mashup. But, it would be private and you cannot make it public. Just like mashups which are private and can only be accessed by an invitation link. If you want your group/mashup public, you need to have coach mode(Candidate Master and sometimes Master. Depending on how many contests you entered)

    But my friend(specialist) doesn't have the feature to create group!

      Hmm, strange. Idk tbh. Codeforces didn't tell any details about that new feature.

        My second account which is at expert also doesn't have the option. It has participated in only 1 contest so maybe a minimum number of contests is a requirement.

    Where does that option appear? I am not seeing any option to create a group in my profile. Maybe it's not for everyone?
