I don't understand , am I not eligible to ask questions because I am not a specialist or expert? Few minutes ago I asked for help regarding a topic. Just asked for some resources which help me learn that stuff. I asked this because I feel that Watching some random videos on that topic won't help.
However I am receiving downvotes for asking question? I really can't get this . Was there something wrong in the question? It is not that I have not tried understanding that topic. I have watched EDU section and read CSES cp handbook . I tried a lot but still can't get the idea that's why I asked it on codeforces. Random downvoting should end. It is really frustrating.
Guess what? I wrote a blog about the same exact topic and it got 50 downvotes, while this one got 3 upvotes... Goes to show that what New_Beginning is trying to say is actually valid.
I like how you think specialist and expert are considered high ;)
Anyway, I think you got donwnvoted because there is a ton of material on recursion available. I googled "recursion tutorial" and found a lot of people trying to explain. Compare this to some more advanced topics where you only have like 1 tutorial and research papers. KhanAcademy looked promising for example.
Its relative... for some people, their goals might be to reach specialist and expert, and that might mean that it is high to them.
Obviously I meant in the context that the blog mentioned.
I just did not want to follow randomly any tutorial that's why I asked. Thanks for suggestions:)
I think Khan Academy is reputable enough ;)
And creating a blog in cf doesn't help that fact. Different people learnt using different resources and has their own preferences. So you will end up getting bunch of different suggestions. And at the end of the day you will randomly follow somebody's advice which you feel is good, maybe you should have followed your gut in the first place.
Questions aren't seen by most as that helpful. Answers are.
