From now onwards, the long contests will start on first Friday on every month and last for 10 days. This ensures that two weekends are covered.
Continuing from there, we bring you the CodeChef August 2013 Long Challenge. The August 2013 Algorithm Challenge is taking place on http://www.codechef.com/AUG13.

Duration: 10 days
Problems: 9 binary problems of varying difficulty levels + 1 challenge problem.

Apart from these, we give away CodeChef goodies to the top 10 global performers. The first timers get a cool CodeChef t-shirt.
From this month onwards we are also going to give away CodeChef goodies to the top 5 high school/middle school students globally as well as to Indian students. You need to add your college/school if you haven't yet done so.
Forgot to mention earlier:
There are some more goodies for the participants. Starting February Long Challenge, 3 Indian and 3 non-Indian participants, having the highest score for the “Challenge” problem will be eligible to receive these additional goodies. These 6 participants will be those who are outside the top 10 non-Indian and top 20 Indian participants of the long Challenge.
