Will this be counted for TCO21 Points for unrated participants?
Same Question
When will the winners of rookie srm 1 will receive their prizes?
Hey! Cash prizes have already been dispursed using Topcoder Payments. T-shirts are being shipped from the US. You should receive a notification from UPS very soon.
Has the list of winners announced?
Sorry, I thought this thread was of SRM 2 :)
I had a query, if I get the message that "your solution was accepted and fetched xxx.xx points", so does it imply that my solution was partially correct ?
No. When you open problem at that time if you submit problem then you get full point. points will be deducted according to how much time you take to submit problem. Your solution will be judged after coding phase finished.
Got it thanks:)
Nice initiative to make contests for beginners.
hmehta Thank you and good luck :)
I was getting this error msg while compiling my code for 1000:
" Your code did not compile: errors compiling:{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:261: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `vpaddd'
{standard input}:267: Error: no such instruction: `vextracti128 $0x1,%ymm0,%xmm0' "
Please someone tell me why this happened.
Couldn't figure out during the whole contest why it was not compiling :(
Thanks for the round! It might be worth investigating whether zodiac_ was using an alt account, assuming he's within range to win a T-shirt; scoring 499.94 on B seems impossible without having seen the problems in advance using a second account.
I want to add that also at some moment he was first in the leaderboards with three problems having 249.sth on 250, so he might have resubmitted it just to fall down in the final standings.
also this user HeNoes,heneos3.14 is definitely using 2 or more accounts
.06 points for slow internet connection.
Any updates? I hope to see kdh9949 reaching red before going to the army (from this Monday)
T-Shirts are for top 20 eligible contestants (for whom contest was rated right)? Or you have to be among top 20 in common ranklist?
According to the post above, the prizes are available only to competitors for whom the contest was rated.
Let's say somebody's rank is 25 but he is in top 20 contestants for whom the contest was rated, so will he win a t shirt or not ?
How to edit School in Coder Info section in topcoder?
from topcoder website, edit info
Here, I want to change School
I couldn't find this info on website
On website not arena
How do we see which sys test cases failed in the applet?
Run system tests in practice options
When this contest will available in the Practice Room.
You can enter to contest and click Practice Options -> Run System Tests
I don't see the last rookie SRM in the applet. Do they not get added or am I just not looking in the right place? (I'm looking under SRMs)
From the room's scoreboard, right click on your name and click "History". Scroll to where you see a negative value (in red) indicating either a failed submission or a failed challenge. Double click on that entry to see the test case.
Just to confirm, this round doesn't have "special cash prizes" mentioned in the announcement, right?
OK, no mention on cash prizes in the T-shirt Winners list makes me believe that I don't need to file a US tax form. Thanks for organizing great contests for beginners!
hmehta Its been some time now. Has the eligible winners list announced(maybe in the forums)?
Hey! We are working to find out the possible cases of cheating and it will take a few days to announce the T-shirt winners. :)
hmehta As I can see, all participants in the list of T-shirt winners have this round unrated for them (at least, it doesn't show up in their profile, while for other participants, who should be rated according to the rules in this post it does). I am also not in the list, while the round is rated for me, and I am in top20 (nigosha TopCoder account). I believe it might be the case that rated and unrated users have been mixed up. Could you please clarify this?
My bad! — Apologies! The list is now fixed :)
