penalty of any resubmission/wrong submission can only deducted from the solution which was attempted

Basically .. the penalty ie, negative marks -50 will be deducted from that problem only. if i do 4 penalty and not get right of that question .. then it will not affect my previous problem..? See below image .. the overall point i get is 482 or 482-200??
