(Wished our problem quality was higher last contest? Come join us as a problem-setter!)

About TeamsCode: TeamsCode is a student-run 501(c)(3) non-profit based in the West Coast of the US that works to encourage middle school and high school students to study computer science. We work with teachers and sponsors to create awesome FREE programming contests – both online and in-person!

We are opening up our TeamsCode team application for new problem writers who will be working with the problems team to write problems, solutions, and test cases. Ideally, you should be a high schooler or prospective high schooler (8th – 11th) and interested/experienced in competitive programming. If you are selected, you will be listed on our website and have the opportunity to be certified for volunteer hours if interested. If you think you would be a good fit for our team, please fill out our application form here:

Ok codeforces if someone could explain what I did wrong(so I don't do it again next time) which resulted in the downvotes that would be great, thanks. Edit: Sorry if I broke any codeforces etiquette.

i'll be real with you, but i absolutely agree that only letting 8th~11th graders set problems is an extreme case of racism and should immediately invalidate the contest.

When I first read this blog to me it looked like a company earning profits by asking people to work for them for free. Companies earning profits yet not paying their interns and students working with them for the sake of experience certificate is sadly too common here.

I have read the about page on your website. Most people here don't know about Teamscode and what do they do. I strongly suggest you first introduce your organization (especially mission and goals) in this blog (maybe just copy info on the about page?) and then proceed with a call for problem setters.

Also, at first, I didn't understood why you had a strange requirement of only letting school students as graders. But now it does makes sense since everyone involved here is a middle and high school student. All the Best.

Ah, thanks a lot for the explanation. I have updated the post with a short description of the contest organization.
