Racism and Respect on Codeforces Website

As tensions in the Middle East grow, I want to strongly remind everyone to stay respectful on the website. People are struggling right now and being insensitive will only make matters worse. Racism is racism — stereotypes are stereotypes, no matter if the person is Arabian, Jewish, White, Black, Hispanic / Latinx, Asian, or any other ethnic group. We are all people, with different dreams, aspirations, and hopes. Please, don't bring up issues that aren't needed to be brought up on a competitive programming website.

By reminding everyone, is it not like reminding them that racism is a thing?

If we just stop talking about it (obviously, we will oppose it when it happens), won't it will be better? Like, one day everyone forgets about this discrimination because there is no one talking about it, no one is there to remind them that they are different than each other(even if in the end you say that we all are one).
Even if we talk about racism and in the end say that it's a bad thing, we indirectly or unknowingly tell the people that we are different or can be different and some are treated oddly and the others are not.

    I really shouldn't have to justify my own opinion, but this was mainly inspired because of the hate comments I've seen in the Palestine blog that was not too long ago.
