10 mins ago a contest ended in CodeChef. I don't know you will believe me or not, 6 peoples submitted exact same code (just template is different), but I know they will not get skipped.

But why? Why CodeChef don't skip same solution just as CodeForces do?

Yes I know comparing CodeChef with CodeForces is shit, you maybe 5* in CodeChef but in CodeForces, maybe be you are newbie, yes that's the level of CodeChef & a 5* Coder in CodeChef, LOL, we all know that, even recruiters also do. Even the people who do cheating they have no future, no interest for ICPC or IOI, they are the worst people in our community & may GOD punish them for it.

But the thing is, why CodeChef don't skip same solution? Why they are not worried about their reputation & give MOTHER FUC*ING cheaters chance to do cheating? Any reason? Any CodeChef admin/moderator here who can clear that?

I think that's how it is people will cheat no one can do anything about it. I like solving problems so I do. What I am concerned about is that codechef ratings will not remain credible at this rate. I also noticed codechef had less cheating at the time when it was owned by Directi and problems were also good quality. But since unacademy took over it has become joke.

That's the reason me & 3 of my coding mates give up on codechef. The value of a 5* is less then value of a pupil in codeforces. Even the problems are very bad, you wont learn anything. And yes the point you mentioned, after unacademy took over codechef, this platform becomes full commercial, just a piece of shit.

Sometimes i Wonder how fool this cheaters are. If an interviewer judge you on cp ratings, then he must be aware of this that becoming 5* in codechef is cake walk. So there is no point put this on your resume. More over, if you are 5* in codechef but not a expert in codeforces, you are proving yourself a cheater then. Haha.

But honestly i miss the platform what codechef was 2 years ago.

I don't think the problems are bad. In fact they are kinda similar to codeforces, with less adhoc & constructive (which I think most newbies like).

Yeah, sure, I lose sometimes rating because of cheaters, but still, it's easy to get the nice yellow color on your name so whatever.

Can you tell me how it is affecting you and your learnings? It actually doesn't matter. Right?

Cheaters are eventually going to fail in future. And the most important thing, by cheating they are questioning their own problem solving skills. Isn't it?

Yes its impacting. A problem which should solve by 100 peoples, that problem are being solved by 500 people now. Its just because 4/5 people making groups & submitting same solution. Is it not demotivating? It was suppose to increase your rating by 50 but instead it is deceasing!!! May this people see worst time in their life when they will look for jobs.

If you are talking about recruiting process, let me tell you that my expert and CM friends are not getting even OA link after applying only for gender issue. Some people got into big companies without having good profile, sorry I mean without having CF account just because they belong to particular gender sorry if it hurts.

Yes exactly, the market has completely changed even in India. No one now cares about rating anymore.Masters are unemployed in this market and people having 0 cp experience (but good dev and research projects) are getting into top companies not just in India but even in foreign nowadays.

"I don't know you will believe me or not, 6 people submitted exact same code (just template is different), but I know they will not get skipped." Tbf, that's not an unexpected thing in Codechef.
