The next contest is after ten days. It is too long to wait. We request dear codeforces admins to do a contest before it.

Once you get addicted to Codeforces contest ,there's no comeback :3 The empty contest section(You know there will be 8-9 contest) will give you feeling of loneliness.

Instead of worrying about contest gaps, try to practice questions from problemset and also give the virtual contests. It will help a lot.
