As the first four rounds of IIOT have now concluded, we are glad to announce the winners of the mirror competion which took place alongside the official contest. Over the four rounds 252 teams scored points and all the problems but 2 were completely solved by a team, these problems being "Plowing Fields" from Round 2 and "Sorting Proximity" from round 3. Before congratulating the final winners, a special mention is due to "the quick errorgorn had not jumped over the lazy oolimry", "Israel winning IOI" and "Mister Wakaka" for solving all the problems in the first round.

Now, on with the top 5 teams:

  • In the fifth place, team "Germany A", from Germany, with 2775 points.
  • In the fourth place, team "Nescafe 4 f 1", from Egypt, with 2795 points.
  • In the third place, team "Majorana2", from Italy, with 2993 points.
  • In the second place, team "Magari", from Egypt, with 3070 points.

And finally "Alon Tanay", from Isreal, came first with 3158 points. Congratulations to all!

The full ranking is available here.

The competition does not end here though, as the final round will take place on Friday, March 25th. The online mirror round will start at 13:00 CET and end as usual 27 hours later, allowing for 3 hours of competition USACO-style.

We hope that you will join us or encourage your students to do so!
