On these days i'm practicing a lot in some OJ, and i always have a little trouble: "When should i give up of thinking and go see the editorial ?".
If you have some tip i would be very thankful.
Sorry for my bad english.
I have one free month just to study for Competitive programming, how should be my training ?
Someone knows if there will be some interview with the champions? Maybe photos?
For who was on organization: Do "you" can update a separate video with the screencast of the winner team? Maybe 3 videos with the screencast of the top 3 ?
Hi there, i'm João and i'm from Brazil.
I was thinking and i saw many people asking target's and red's things like: How to become a div1? or How to become red? And all the answers is practice more, try problems hard for you...
So i'll try to do a blog and in each chapter i'll put problems that i liked, nice things that i learned and obviously my trainning week.
Now i'll try to explain what i'm going to do this week, starting from now i'll solve at least 3 problems per day from codeforces, the problems will be from the page 8 of the problemset decreased by solved and every saturday i'll do a 5 hours contest with my friends of the university.
I know that i'm not good on competitive programming but i want to prove that it's not impossible to be a red or a good contestant. If you want to participate of this journey come with me and let's have fun.
I hope you enjoy it. If you like my idea please upvote and comment what would be nice.
IF YOU HAVE SOME TIP PLEASE COMMENT.
UPD: If you want to participate of this journey please send a message with your skype or facebook, it'll be interesting a group with people helping others.
Sorry for my bad english.
I tried to talk with some red's but just 1 answer, so i decided to ask here for all the contestants. I would like to know what is your training plan. What you recommend to me ? How many hours do you spend to read the editorial ? What is your favorite site (codeforces,uva,tc,spoj...)? How many hours per day do you practice ? Please answer. Sorry for my English.
On the last year i saw many coders using far manager like tourist and others. What is the advantage of using far manager as a IDE ? why so many programmers are using this ?
Does exists some IDE like intellijIDEA for c++, that can use like a plugin for TC and CF?
I want to study probability for programming contests someone can help me? like saying a book or a tutorial.
Hi, Uri online judge is my favorite site to practice, he is really very good, his problems are separated by topic, origin or author... and also is divided in levels(what is really useful).. https://www.urionlinejudge.com.br/judge/login
