Greetings everyone, a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all.

I am Keshav keshav_57 Dhandhania, I went to International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) in '09 and '10. A few months ago, I announced an IOI community that a few other coaches and I started. I'm very pleased with the response, and now within a span of 2-3 months, there are 700+ people in the community!

Due to the interest and excitement shown by everyone, we also started a Competitive Programming community about a month ago. This community is growing even faster and 500+ people have joined it (within one month!).

Current features of the community include

  • Tutorials curated from across the web, including 20+ short videos (and counting). The tutorials focus on giving intuition. (link)

  • 100+ problems (and counting!) with hints. Hints are better than solutions for practice, because you learn lesser by reading the full solution. After reading one hint, you can try solving the problem again. If you are still stuck, you can read the next hint! (link)

  • Flexibility to discuss problems from any platform — including CodeForces, CodeChef, SPOJ, TopCoder, WCIPEG, ACM ICPC practice websites, IOI practice websites, and anything else.

Hope you guys join the community! :) Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Hello everyone, I am Keshav Dhandhania. I represented India @ IOI in 2009 and 2010.

I and some IOI alumni and coaches have started an International Olympiad in Informatics community. Some cool things about the community

  • Tutorials on beginner concepts focus on simplicity, intuition and fun.

  • Solutions are given hint by hint. Using hints helps you improve faster than reading the full solution to a problem. Moreover, creating good problems is tough, and CodeForces and TopCoder problems are not the same as IOI-style problems. (sample 1, sample 2)

  • Flexibility for each country to focus on problems from their individual training camps (samples). We would love for you to upload the problems used for practice in your own country.

Hope you guys like it! Join the community to get updates — it is hosted on a platform called Commonlounge.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome :)
