I think codeforces should start updating their website to have some of the following anti-cheating measures: 1. Access to camera during contest. (I know the no. of users is very high and so it would be highly difficult but it can be implemented. An AI detecting if a user is not attempting or something like that. 2. Screen proctoring — users should only be allowed to only switch between text editors like vscode/sublime/etc. and codeforces during contest — a type of screen recording/sharing system. 3. Highly strict plag-check and cheating punishments — even if it takes sometime to release results/updated ratings, there should be a thorough checking. Also, users with similar code for the first time should be exempted from ban but their contest should be skipped. Other than that if they cheat for second time, then they should be completely banned. Also, this may lead to some innocents getting punished, so there should be a forum where innocents can defend themselves via proofs.

I know this can lead to many people not giving contests but at least it would keep the theme of CP alive. Pls give other suggestions that could be implemented.

I also think people with highest rating gain from a contest should be checked first.

I have solved some few contests till now and in the last contest which i did after 2 months, i got my first negative rating. I am in college and had to focus on academics for the past 2 months. Now i have 2 months vacation and then internships. So, i aim to reach >1400 to get good internships. Currently, I am 1150-1200. Please give me some tips on how to achieve it. There are many students who are in similar situation and this blog might be an important one. So, please give genuine advices on what questions we should solve and contests that we should appear. Also, give any other resources which one can look upto. Should we learn more advanced topics like graphs, trees, and other algorithms or stick to heaps, hashmaps, stacks for 1400. till what questions should we solve in div2, div 3 contests (C in div2, D in div3 or what?). Thank You!! (btw this is my first blog)
