Just Finished School – Starting My Competitive Programming Journey
Hello everyone,
I recently finished school, and I’ve decided to seriously start my journey in competitive programming on Codeforces.
About Me
I’m new to the platform, but I’ve always enjoyed solving problems and thinking logically. Now that I have more time, I want to improve my problem-solving skills and see how far I can go.
My Goals
Here are a few goals I’ve set for myself:
- Reach Specialist (1400+) rating
- Solve problems consistently every week
- Participate in as many contests as possible
- Improve my understanding of algorithms and data structures
My Plan
This is how I’m planning to train:
- Practice problems daily, starting from easier ones and gradually increasing difficulty
- Focus on key topics such as:
Binary Search
- Greedy algorithms
- Dynamic Programming
- Graphs
- Upsolve problems after contests
- Read blogs and learn from more experienced users
