Hi everyone, this is my first blog post here, and I wish it were under better circumstances.
I’m writing this for transparency. I had registered for Round 1081 but decided not to participate because I was mentally exhausted from my college mid-semester exams.
While looking at the problems later in the contest, I got curious if an AI could solve Problem E. In my tired state, I completely forgot I was still "in" the contest and submitted the code just to see if it would pass. I realized the mistake immediately and messaged the coordinator Jamshed11.
The organizer mentioned he informed the team, but since no action has been taken yet, I am posting this here for the attention of MikeMirzayanov and the Codeforces team. I want to be moved to "Out of Competition" and have the rating decrease from this round nullified. This is urgent because I would like to participate in the Division 1 contest this evening, and the accidental submission has currently dropped my rating below the eligibility threshold.
I sincerely apologize for this mistake and for violating the contest rules. It was a genuine lapse in judgment due to fatigue, and I hope for your understanding so I can compete in my correct division tonight.
