Huge thanks for the work, zibada. I am very glad to be spared from having to go through each of my submissions to download all the files. I totally understand how huge the files will be if you tried to retain the "non-final" submissions of a problem, but I guess I'm happy with just the "final" submissions as well :)

Kinda cool

Could be even cooler if we actually trade futures with other players

Same here! I don't see it at all :(

Imagine getting asked what a "bugaboo" is while you're trying to explain what Codeforces is during an interview

Thanks to the last round, I can be rated this round :D

I'm glad all the cyans turned blue this year :D

This is actually cool! For one thing, a mashup can now have a consistent theme across each problem now :D

Congrats!

Passing pretests during the contest does not mean it is correct. Therefore, sometimes a contestant may want to resubmit their solution which the pretests may not have caught their bug. This is why the rules are designed this way.

I'd say don't worry about your ratings until it stablizes. The initial ratings don't represent much about your skills anyways.
On how to improve, you can try learning algorithms and make your own library to use in the future.

And hopefully the round won't become Unrated.

Maybe they are different T-shirts?

I'm sure it's ok if such person gets all 6 different ones haha

Time to figure out which is which in ~1.5 hours lol

Good job showing that you're a good scientist. thumbs up

I think you should also try to prove it with a contest of 2 problems. You'll have a better understanding of why that's the case.

I agree with reading all problems before starting because there are many times where I get stuck on a problem believing "the ones after are harder" while I could've solve problem D way faster than problem C (or some other combinations). I failed a contest for not reading all the problems at the start before :(

Not exactly. I think it's more of decreasing order of . For example, if it takes you 2 minutes to solve A and 3 minutes to solve B. Solving A then B gives you 750 - 2 - 10 = 750 - 12 = 738 points while solving B then A gives you 750 - 5 - 6 = 750 - 11 = 739 points.

Omg that's exactly what I did
We're not alone XD

I solved that 5 minutes after the contest lol

Don't feel upset if it gets accepted, though. Whether or not we are able to solve a problem is more important than "the ratings we could've gotten," in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing this! I only looked at tests 1, 2, 3, 5 and 14 during the contest so I totally missed this beautiful art lol

And I just got curious to what my program does so here's some zigzag:

Just seeing some people accidentally used the diagnostics during contest submission and got very confused, perhaps don't let us pick this for submissions during contests?

Don't be upset, MikeMirzayanov. Things do happen sometimes. And I'm glad you're always trying to make this wonderful website better :)

My brain melted on E! How did you do that one?

Let's run the system test. For one I'd like to know if I messed up on div. 2 ABCD. For another, I really wanna upload my updated version for problem F just to see if I did it correctly lol

Either rated or unrated, the system test shall run lol

When you finally did ok on a round

You too!

By getting hacked on Problem A, I feel that if I (and many others ;) ) were to monitor the configuration of the traffic lights in the real world, so many people will get killed by accident XD

On a serious note though, thanks for hacking my solution, cswyyv864. If I didn't get hacked I would've just gotten 0 for it at the end lol

Honestly I think having fun competing is more important than ratings so I'd say that's kinda true

+14

It's interesting that some of my friends are more interested in participating when it's not rated haha

I felt so silly lol
Gotta be more careful next time :)

I'd guess a yes

It is probably because only the last one that passed all the pretests count for the contest, so your correct submission during the contests technically did not count

0

That moment when you get div. 2 problem A wrong in system test

Yeah I just checked that as well. I suppose that's not the case then...

Hopefully someone can help you soon.

In case if your name does show up on Codeforces Round #405(rated,Div2,based on VK Cup 2017 Round 1)'s registrant list, you can unregister yourself by going to http://mirror.codeforces.com/contestRegistrants/791/friends/true and click the "x" next to your handle.

If that's not the case then I don't know D:
