A device can have more than one IP. Similarly, a group of devices have the same IP, which is also known as private IP. Example, a common network shared among schools, universities.

Regarding point 2. Well it's not useless. Ask the guy in TCS and Infosys sitting for 14 hours and getting a mere 25k per month. Not everyone is too good in coding, and even sometimes luck plays a role too. GATE is a great way to get into good companies, which I believe.

They are doing their best to motivate us, so that we achieve success, but sometimes it feels "I don't belong here". This fast-paced internet and life has affected me really. It was indeed a placement round. Only 108 students get selected for hackathons. Rest upto rank 500, students get pre-placement interview for power programmer role(8 lpa) and upto 2000, system engineer specialist role(5 lpa).

I too use sublime text and this never happened with me. Then as I said, two possibilities- Either you gave this guy your code or you might have pasted your code on online ide's like ideone, pastebin or maybe github too.
