BLUEPRINT TO SUCCESS
Let Me Break it down
- I am thinking of participating in google kickstart ,facebook cup and many other competitions now on. 2.I will give codechef contests along the way like lunchtime, cookoff and long. 3.I would mostly practice on codeforces henceforth=>
(GEEKS FOR GEEKS) say's: 1. first point says if you are a real beginner hit 800-1000 ratings in problemset and solve 30-40 problems which I am not clearly so I am neglecting this one.(I am well aware of the submission system as well on CF). 2.This one suggests to give 2-3 contests per week .It says you can't solve lot of problems right away you might just be able to solve very few problems initially and later improve on the accuracies with consistency.(agreed) 3.This point is note making worthy in my thought that I have not taken time of essential importance till now in all contests or to say I haven't had the feel of pushing myself in Problem Solving against time as I have given more long challenges than short ones hence I have to hit more short ones. 4. This is yet another one I have heard a lot and implemented less UPSOLVING. It is a key to learn new things. 5.even if your solution is correct learn from others code.easy approaches or new language based features or updates. 6.This is more like gym stuff keep increasing the difficulty of the problems you solve like the term progressive overloading. 7.More practice equates to more mistakes that equates to more learning and more confidence. I find this blog has good points I should carry with me all the times currently I am engaged in codechef June long challenge left with three more problems I seem to be optimistic to push my self to 3 star but unlike before never fall back to 2 stars . Till then keep grinding .
