Right now, the queue is completely clogged, you might assume it's slow because of the recent contest, but if you look at status it's actually hundreds of unrated bots submitting AI generated code to random contests, rendering the website unusable

Clearly there is a problem with letting random accounts freely submit, some countermeasure has to be taken. I remember there being a thread on front page about botting problems before I made my account but I can't find it, maybe look at suggestions from there. If it isn't already there, a decent solution would be phone number 2FA or some other verification method that can't be easily avoided.

The bigger question is who is doing this? Why? Probably to train more AI instead of fixing this
