I was looking submission of other user and i noticed something common in them,

ifdef ONLINE_JUDGE

define OJ \

freopen(file".in", "r", stdin); \
freopen(file".out", "w", stdout);

else

define OJ ;

endif

I want to know how this works .Please help.
