Let us for a moment, keep aside the fact that it is usually easily recognizable from the code itself whether it is self thought or AI generated. Have a look at the image of submission of a user CompressedRow from "Educational Codeforces Round 180 (Rated for Div. 2)"

Pretty usual submission stat, isnt it? No!

First, second and third submission, simple, no suspicion

Fourth question: First incorrect attempt : 20:52. Second incorrect attempt: 21:02. Third incorrect attempt : 21:12.

Seems like AI tools couldnt figure out the correct approach. No worry, lets move onto the next question (question E)

As I am a legend which even Masters and Grandmasters aren't, I am able to figure out the approach to the question E in mere 6 minutes. Not to forget this 6 minutes include thinking as well as typing the code.

Unfortunately, I am still 'human', so code couldn't pass. So in next 6 minutes, I go back to my previous unsolved question, change the code and hurray! chatgpt, oops! my brain worked.

I try to solve again question E in next 7 minutes, but unfortunately my brain is tired of so much unpaid labour, I quit.

This is not only about frantic switching between unsuccessful attempts (that too at small intervals for toughest of questions). Even if one go through the codes of the same, one can realise how much brain was involved (in unfair means).

Some submissions: 325768342, 325785555.

If reporting someone officially using AI tools in live contest has to be this lengthy process, be it. The genuine coders will suffer.

P.S.:-

Hope the guy knows what it do.

Recently, we witnessed a good initiative where one can report the user for cheating (either for plagiarism or use of AI) after the holy massacre of rules and ethics in the recent contests. But what on earth was its purpose when no "AI-glorified" users got unrated/banned after yesterday's rating rollback?

It's been a long time and it seems like they have completely forgotten that they need to rollback and recalculate ratings after plag check. Its been a month.
