Hello Codeforces!!

I would like to invite you to participate in HackerEarth's December Easy '18. The contest will be held on 9th December, 2018 at 21:00 IST.

You will be given 5 algorithmic problems to solve in 3 hours. Partial scoring will be used (you get points for passing each test case). Although the contest is targeted towards beginners, we hope that everyone finds the tasks interesting. The contest is rated for all and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 beginners (i.e. programmers with a rating of 1600 or less before the challenge starts).

The problems have been prepared by me, and tested by r3gz3n and shangjingbo.

This is my first attempt at creating a problemset, and I hope that it turns out to be balanced and interesting. Feedback about the problems is welcome, once the contest ends.

Good luck & Have fun!

Update-1: The contest starts in less than an hour. Good luck to everyone! :)

Update-2: The contest is over and editorials are up. Hope you enjoyed the contest.

Congratulations to the winners!

  1. I_love_Tanya_Romanova
  2. Marcel Bezdrighin
  3. VictorForbes
