I came across this problem [](https://www.spoj.com/problems/JNEXT/) under the tag of stack and queues and would like to know the solution for the same. I got it accepted using basic logic but couldn't find any solution using stacks or queues.

I am participating in the ongoing CODECHEF MAY20B Long challenge and have achieved a score of 255 as of now. I feel kinda struck right now and haven't had much progress in the last 2-3 days although i have spent quite a lot of time(about 10-12 hours in last three days).

I wanted to ask, is it really worth spending so much time on a few questions?

I feel i could have solved a relatively larger number of simpler(the level of problems i am practicing) problems rather.
