Assalamu Alaikum everyone!

Today I want to share why I started Codeforces.

As a CSE student, I always heard seniors talking about competitive programming. They said it improves problem solving skills, logical thinking, and coding speed. At first, I was not very serious about it.

I used to think: “Why should I solve so many problems when I already have university exams?”

But one day I realized something important.

Programming is not only about writing code. It is about thinking clearly under pressure.

When I joined Codeforces, my first contest was terrible. I could not solve even simple problems quickly. I panicked. I made silly mistakes. I doubted myself.

But that experience changed me.

I understood that I was weak in: • Basic implementation • Time management • Thinking under pressure

So I decided to improve.

I started solving easy problems. I practiced regularly. I read editorials carefully. I tried to understand patterns instead of memorizing solutions.

Slowly, I became more confident.

Codeforces taught me: • How to stay calm in contests • How to debug quickly • How to think logically • How to accept failure and move forward

I am still learning. I still struggle sometimes. But I know one thing for sure —

Starting Codeforces was one of the best decisions in my programming journey.
int main(){ cout << "Keep practicing. Keep improving."; }
